Where are you going ??

Happy Friday, guys !!! Believe it or not, I'm back in NYC this week-end, getting ready for a performance at the Bitter End on Sunday. I am so excited that I can hardly stand it. Lol.

I have enjoyed my recent travels to NY lately and can feel myself growing both musically and personally !!

The topic I would like to talk about this week is, "Where are you going?" Every day, we wake up, we usually go somewhere. We go to school, work, out with friends, church, etc. But, what I'm trying to say is, where are you really going ?? Are you going places that mean something to you and that will help you? Obviously, some places we go are just mandatory whether we want to go or not....school and work. But, even going to the places that are mandatory, are you really going ??? Is your heart there. ?? Are you doing your best there ? Are you making a difference in yourself and others? I personally feel, everywhere we go should have a purpose. Where we go should make us better people. Even when I go to the grocery store or Walmart with my mom, I try to make it a good experience. I try to talk to people, smile a lot, and even maybe straighten up an item someone carelessly knocked over. I know it sounds crazy, but everywhere we go, is an opportunity. An opportunity to make a difference in yourself and others around you.

My parents have taught me that my attitude is everything. And, in everything I do, everywhere I go, is an opportunity to make a difference in myself and others.

I hope wherever you go, makes you a better person, makes you happy, and makes a difference to people around you. :)
