Happy Friday, guys !! I always get hyper on Fridays. I think it's because I always have fun things planned. This Friday, I'm heading to Tennessee to film a video. I've been looking forward to it for several weeks. I hope you guys have plans on having a great week-end, also. I seriously buckled down and got two songs finished this week, and began working on a third. I absolutely can't wait for you to hear them.

My story about being bullied:

I wanted to just say that being "different" is totally the way to be. Don't ever let anybody tell you that you don't measure up because you're not like them. Stay true to who YOU are !! Last school year, I was bullied by this girl who literally left mean notes on my desk and post-it notes on my locker. If the teacher passed out worksheets or tests, she would grab my paper and mark it up with mean messages. She would wad my paper up and throw it in the floor. She would knock my pencil out of my hand. She even took things from my purse when I wasn't looking. She would laugh at me in the hallways and in the cafeteria. But guess what ??? She doesn't have a true single friend that I know of. My friends and family really stood by me through this ordeal. And, although it was hard at times not to cry, I didn't !! There were times I really wanted to get even with her. But, I decided that stooping to her level wasn't the way to go. I decided instead, to put on extra swag around her. It was very difficult at first. But I knew it would kill her even more. I also got much smarter with my purse (life lesson learned.) And although I have never physically hit or punched a person in my life, my parents enrolled me in a self-defense class (just in case I needed it.) Luckily, I didn't. But, I gained incredible strength through this experience. And, when I began songwriting last year, this was one of the first songs I ever wrote. You can hear it on my YouTube channel by clicking the link below. So, I just want to encourage all girls out there and even guys, that no matter what, stay true to yourself and never ever change to fit in. If people laugh at you, just be strong and put on extra swag !! Being different is totally awesome and you will always have my support !! So, stay strong !!!

Have a GREAT week-end !!!
