I Wanna Look Beautiful !!!

Happy Friday, guys !!! I'm so excited for the week-end to be upon me once again !!! It has been one of the busiest weeks I've ever had. I have been collaborating with a dear friend of mine in New York this week and I've been up late working every single night. I feel like I made major progress this week. So, I'm sooooo happy !!!!

One song that I was able to completely finish this week, is a song that I wrote about my beautiful sister, Chloe, getting ready for her first dance. The song is called, "I Wanna Look Beautiful For You." The reason I was so inspired to write this song was because she has always battled shyness which has prevented her from doing a lot of things.....like going to dances. So, this is a major big deal, her going to a dance.

I think one of the things that's held her back, is she never felt pretty enough to go to a dance. Even though she is probably one of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen in my life, and even though people tell her all the time that she's beautiful, deep down she doesn't believe it. You would have to know her the way I do. We are best friends and she does tell me everything. So, I wanted to write this song to inspire her to realize how beautiful she really is both outwardly and inwardly. And, the song is about her getting ready for her first homecoming dance !! I was so happy to write this.

And, speaking of beauty, what is beauty anyway ??? Okay, I will go ahead and tell you what I think beauty means. Beauty means having a beautiful heart, a beautiful and creative mind, a beautiful smile, and a beautiful attitude. I truly do think that what is in your heart is what people see on the outside. My sister has the most beautiful heart of any person I've ever known !!! She is very special to me.

So, I absolutely can't wait for all of you to hear it. I will be performing it at Common Grounds Coffee House during my holiday show.

I hope each of you, both women and men, girls and boys, realize there is something beautiful within each and everyone of you. And, what makes you the most beautiful is what comes from within you !! Trust in your beautiful heart and don't ever let anyone tell you or make you feel that you're not beautiful !!!
