#Gaining Confidence !!!

Happy Friday, Guys !!! I am super duper excited about this week-end !! First of all, I'll be in New York this week-end performing at "Party in the Park," an event created to help make a more beautiful Port Washington. I'm also excited about attending a solo performance class with Voice Academy, NYC at Ripley Grier Studios. And, of course, visiting with many of my New York friends I've made over the past year and a half. :)

So, I wanted to say that I can personally feel my confidence growing each time I perform on stage. I still get very nervous, but I can feel it getting easier each time. I'm very excited about a cool place I found in Lexington, KY that is giving me opportunities each week to perform on stage. Common Grounds Coffeehouse is an awesome place !!! Each night I leave there, I feel like I'm growing in confidence as an artist and performer. It truly helps also that the audience and other performers are so supportive !!

So, I guess I just want to say, that the only way to grow at something, is to first of all, believe in yourself. Secondly, practice a lot. I mean, really a lot. Lol. Whatever it is, just practice a lot. I don't even count how long I practice anymore. I just start and then end when I feel like I just can't do anymore. Usually, at least 3 hours a day during the school week, 5-6 hours each day on the week-ends. I have to practice so that I'm always prepared. And lastly, just go out there and do it !! Then, I promise you that your confidence will grow !!

I hope you guys have a super duper awesome week-end !! I personally am looking forward to the cooler temps and I'm crossing my fingers that I can talk my mom into taking me to Patsy's for dinner while I'm in NYC. Their alfredo is the best I've ever had !!!
