The importance of giving back !!

First things first !! Happy Friday, guys !!! Oh, it's been an amazing week, but challenging also !! I just wanted to say that I'm excited to be able to return to volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House next month. I have really missed it !! It's so easy to get caught up in life that we often overlook others who need our help. Even if it's one day a week, one day a month, or even once a year, we all should try to do something to contribute to this world !! It could even be something as simple as picking up trash off of the street. Doing something for someone else just makes you feel great about yourself !!

I also want to mention, that I have officially decided to give half of the proceeds of all of my merchandise sales to the Ronald McDonald House as well. Although it isn't a super lot, I have already raised close to $300 from merchandise sales to give them. I'm hoping to reach my goal of $300 by the end of September.

The Ronald McDonald House holds a very special meaning for my family. When my older sister Chloe was born, she had to be in the NICU at Nationwide Children's Hospital. At the time, my parents couldn't afford a long-term hotel stay. So, they stayed at the Ronald McDonald House. It truly made a difference in our lives. They have also stayed there during numerous hospital stays for my youngest brother, Nathaniel, It's so awesome to have a place like that for families who need a place to stay.

Anyway, I'm so excited to be able to do all I can for this wonderful organization !!

Now, onto other news-

I have so many incredible things going on right now !! I'm working on lots of new originals. Also, I have several performances coming up. Tomorrow night (9/23/17) at the Common Grounds Coffeehouse, beginning at 9:00 p.m. !! This place is super cool !!! They have an awesome stage !! Very friendly people and great food. Also, I will be heading to NY next week-end to perform at the "Party in the Park." You can check times on my website under the "Tour" tab.
